ZNNP+ is an umbrella body that represents the interests of people living with HIV in Zimbabwe in their diversity. The organization is represented in support groups and community-based organizations at all provincial, district and ward levels of Zimbabwe. ZNNP+’s mission is “An environment where people live positively.”

The purpose of this assignment is to design and develop a comprehensive cross-platform application aimed at facilitating health self-care. This self-care platform will incorporate both administrative and end-user functionalities, ensuring that it caters to a wide range of users. The administrative side will be web-based, allowing health professionals and administrators to manage content, monitor user engagement, and analyze health outcomes efficiently. Meanwhile, the end-user experience will be delivered through a native mobile application, making it accessible and convenient for users to manage their health on the go. A key feature of this platform will be its robust artificial intelligence capabilities, which will enhance user interactions and provide personalized health advice. In designing the platform, it is crucial to prioritize strong data security and privacy measures. Given the sensitive nature of health-related data, the system involves implementing advanced encryption techniques for data storage and transmission, as well as robust authentication mechanisms to control access and maintain user anonymity. The user interface and overall user experience will also play a significant role in the platform’s effectiveness. The application’s design should be intuitive, featuring simple navigation and a visually appealing layout. Detailed TORs will be shared upon request.

The Consultant should prove to have done some work related to the assignment. A bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT, at least 5 references, understanding of algorithms, data structures, and databases. Knowledge of frameworks for both front-end: React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte and back-end: Django, Laravel, Express.js, Spring, Ruby on Rails is required.
