Target, Accelerate, Sustain Quality Care (TASQC) Programme
The Target, Accelerate and Sustain Quality Care (TASQC) for HIV Epidemic Control Program was launched In October 2020, with support from PEPFAR through USAID Zimbabwe. The program is led by OPHID with ZNNP+ and J F Kapnek as implementing partners. The goal of the program is to contribute to the achievement and sustainability of HIV epidemic control in Zimbabwe through the provision of technical, financial, and material support towards the management, coordination and provision of comprehensive clinical care services within the national HIV program. ZNNP+ is currently implementing the TASQC program in 15 districts namely Chitungwiza, Bulawayo, Bulilima, Mangwe, Matobo, Gwanda, Insiza, Beitbridge, Umzingwane, Masvingo, Gutu, Chiredzi, Chivi, Mwenezi and Zaka.
In the TASQC program, ZNNP+ supports district level community engagement policy advocacy as well as support program sustainability through development and deployment of community members. ZNNP+ further assists the program to identify, monitor and resolve community barriers to service provision, engage with faith and traditional leaders to facilitate community buy-in, and build the capacity of communities to be accountable for quality HIV services.
